DESCRIPTION:Join us for the third session of the Leadership for Impact Series\, presented in partnership with Leadership Hastings and Hastings Young Professionals. Participants will learn the principles of assertive communication and how assertiveness involves not only what they say\, but also how they think\, feel\, and behave. They will explore effective word choices\, communication techniques\, and behaviors that promote confidence and positive interactions. Through practical exercises and real-world examples\, participants will develop strategies for communicating clearly\, respectfully\, and effectively in a variety of workplace situations. Participants will grow in confidence\, self-awareness\, and their ability to communicate with clarity and purpose. They will strengthen their skills in managing conflict\, solving problems\, making decisions\, negotiating agreements\, and building stronger relationships with colleagues and team members. Leadership for Impact Series is hosted on Thursday\, October 22 from 12pm - 1pm at the Chamber Development Office --- bring your own lunch.
